Week 1 of Tritons New Zealand 2027. Landing in Auckland. Meeting the group for the first time. Then heading north together to Whangārei for the opening days of the tour. Both the Tritons Women’s and Men’s teams travelling together alongside supporters for three weeks across New Zealand during the first ever Women’s British & Irish Lions tour. The first team socials. Exploring the coastline. Team runs by the water. Trips out to places like Paru Bay and Whangārei Falls. Then the first Lions match. British & Irish Lions v Black Ferns XV under the lights in Whangārei. A few days later, back into Auckland. Training sessions for both teams. Recovery time. Exploring the city.
